You know a storm is bad when they nickname it almost immediately. The snow started Tuesday afternoon and escalated to blizzard conditions by 7pm. I really should have cleared my driveway of the 3+ inches of accumulated snow when I got home by 8pm. However with winds strong enough to make snow flakes feel like insect stings, I wasn't about to run the snow blower in these conditions.
So I had to get rid of more than 12 inches of snow (actually more than 15 inches in some places!) with my little light-duty snow blower this morning. The driveway and sidewalk that usually take less than 20min to clear took more than 90min!
